Meet Erik
Erik is a natural-born leader if there ever was one. A strong, charismatic ruler, he guides his village with grace and resilience under pressure. He’s great at putting the people around him at ease, diffusing tension between aggrieved villagers, and making people feel heard and understood.
Erik is widely admired for his gregarious, down-to-earth demeanor, but he’s far from perfect. For one, the man loves mead. Like, a little too much. He’s habitually late to meetings, and he’s terrible with technology. He still hasn’t figured out how to convert a file to a PDF! He snores really loudly, too. Vikings—they're just like us!
Sure, he has his weaknesses—and sure, his snore can be heard three longhouses over. But Erik is a thoughtful, gracious person when it counts, and the villagers know that he has their best interests in mind. It would be nice if he bought them some earplugs, though.
