Hi everyone. J.G. Wentworth here.
I’d like to talk to you for a little bit about a favorite subject of mine: Thrift.
Bear in mind that since starting the company in 1992, we’ve advanced cash to more than 50,000 customers for their structured settlement and annuity payment streams. And during the course of a transaction, we get to know a little bit about each person’s personal finances. And I can tell you, a lack of thriftiness has contributed to more than a few financial jams among our customers.
Here’s a dictionary definition of the word: The quality of using money and other resources carefully, not wastefully.
Now here’s three good reasons why you should use thrift as one of the guiding principals in your life:
· Thrift focuses you on living within your means.
· Thrift helps you prepare for the unexpected and occasional rainy day.
· Thrift makes you think about what you have rather than what you don’t have, and as a result, makes you a happier person.
Thrift is probably what started my business. Without it I never would have had the resources to get it off the ground. What difference do you think thrift might make in your life?
